TogetherKC Inc., is a qualified Tax- Exemt Organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Treasury and registered as a Non-Profit organization with The Missouri Department of Commerce. tax-exempt, non-profit organization based in Kansas City, Missouri.
Dedicated to delivering food and other essential supplies directly to the homeless and food-insecure individuals in our community. Our leadership team brings not only expertise but also lived experience to our mission, as three of our board members have faced homelessness themselves. This unique perspective fuels our passion and deepens our commitment to those we serve. "TogetherKC.org is committed to transforming homelessness relief in Kansas City by actively engaging with our community’s most underserved members where they reside. By identifying encampment sites and conducting a reliable census of our city’s homeless population, we have developed a data driven, deep understanding of the unique needs and barriers that prevent individuals from returning to traditional housing. We go beyond immediate relief by addressing systemic factors like affordable housing, mental health access, and employment opportunities.
Another key mission is to gather necessary data and scientifically study the complex matrix of root causes and the impact of restriction barriers, that prevent homeless into reintegrating and assimilated back into traditional living.
We see the quiet suffering of homelessness every day—in every corner, on every street—a constant reminder of the hardship that so many endure and the shared humanity that calls us to act.
There is sadness, in witnessing needs go unmet and dignity diminished.
We believe in a Kansas City where no one is left behind, where compassion guides us, and where we recognize that our shared destiny is intertwined with the well-being of all. Our mission is more than distributing food and essential supplies. It’s about restoring hope, dignity, and belonging to those who need it most. We are committed to breaking through the walls of indifference, creating a community where every act of kindness brings us closer to greatness—because to truly be great, we must ensure that no one walks this path alone.
Guided by our findings, we collaborate with other non-profits organizations, universities and healthcare organizations, governmental organizations at the local, State and Federal level, to develop personalized, impactful solutions. Together, we aim to break down barriers, foster resilience, and build pathways toward stability, creating a Kansas City where everyone has the opportunity to thrive."
