By participating in TogetherKC.org’s programs or data collections, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

• Respondents in Data Collections: We may collect demographic information, responses regarding mental health, substance use, and family situations to better understand homelessness and barriers to stability. Participation is entirely voluntary, and respondents can opt out at any point.
• Volunteers: When registering as a volunteer, we collect personal details (e.g., name, contact information, relevant skills) to facilitate and manage volunteer engagements.
• Donors: We collect donor information such as names, contact details, and payment information to process donations, issue receipts, and provide updates on our work.

• For Research and Analysis: Data collected from respondents—including information on mental health, substance use, and family dynamics—is used exclusively for statistical analysis to understand homelessness. All findings are published in aggregate form, with no identifying information to ensure individual privacy.
• Supporting Volunteers: Personal information is used to communicate with volunteers, manage tasks, and match them with appropriate activities.
• Processing Donations: Donor data is used securely to process transactions, send receipts, and communicate TogetherKC.org’s impact and updates.

• TogetherKC.org recognizes the sensitive nature of data regarding mental health, substance use, and family situations. Such data is handled with the utmost care, with access restricted to authorized personnel who are trained in confidentiality and data protection standards.
• Anonymization: Respondent data used for reporting and analysis is anonymized and aggregated to protect individual privacy. We do not publish or share any information that could identify respondents personally.

• TogetherKC.org does not sell, rent, or trade any personal information to third parties.
